Caramelised Bacon Sliders

Ingredients

New England Larder Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar

8 Middle Bacon Rashers
-
1/2 kg Beef Mince
-
2 Yellow onions
-
Olive Oil
-
8 Slider Buns
-
8 slices of old english cheese
-
Your choice of sauces (we recommend Truffle black garlic Mustard)
Method

Thinly slice the onions, in the meantime heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat, adding the onions and cooking until translucent. For extra carmelisation add some New England Larder Onion Jam in this step.

In a hot pan begin cooking bacon until lightly crisp on both sides. Add in 1/4 cup of Caramelised balsamic vinegar (to the 8 rashers) and cook on low until bacon is caramelised and crispy.

In the same pan, evenly portion beef into 8 even patties, pressing flat in the pan and cook on a medium heat until cooked through.

Lightly toast the slider buns in either the oven, toaster or on the same pan for extra flavour.

Begin assembling sliders with pattie, onion, bacon and cheese, adding your choice of sauces before enjoying!
